Horizons East Central Iowa will be closed on Monday, September 7th in honor of Labor Day. There will be no Meals on Wheels deliveries or NTS rides this day.

A big shout-out to Reaction Graphics for our new vehicle wraps!

Our two new NTS buses will be hitting the road as shuttles throughout the Cedar Rapids Metro Area, helping our community get where they need to go. 🚌

And our new Catering for a Cause vehicle will be busy delivering our delicious catering throughout the area! 🍽️

We’re excited to see these vehicles out in the community representing Horizons and the services we’re proud to provide.

We’re so excited to showcase our new logos and celebrate Meals on Wheels East Central Iowa on our Volunteer Bay garage door!

So much happens behind - and in and out of - this door every week. Every weekday, nearly 50 volunteers and staff come through these doors to prepare meals, package them, and pick them up for delivery routes across our communities.

We’re incredibly proud to showcase the program, the people behind it, and the important work that happens here every day! 💙
