At the tail end of March we set out to raise funds to fill the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois Snacks on the House Pantry, for the newly opened Level 7 NICU at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital.

To fill a Snacks on the House pantry for one year, it costs about $6,000. The goal we had for Kiss Your Kids Foundation was to ideally raise half, and we would match those dollars raised through the month of April.

Your response and generosity has been humbling; we are so grateful and once again, in awe of the support.

We are within $400 of the goal, already! 😳🙏🏼😳
Thank you to those who have supported this campaign, getting totals to $2,800.

Let’s keep this rolling here through April as stated. Keep in mind, there are in-hospital Snacks on the House pantries to fill - these funds will all go towards the cost of filling Level 7’s and beyond.
The pantry on Level 3 (PICU) could use this overflow of support. We will feed families with every dollar raised!!

Let’s Stock the Pantry! ❤️

What/ Where: Additional NICU beds are open on level 7 of University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital. More beds = more babies & families to serve!

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois will house another in-hospital food pantry as a part of their Snacks on the House program, on level 7.

Why: People need to eat. Often times, when parents and caregivers are experiencing a hospital stay with their babe, they think about themselves last as caring for baby is top of mind. These pantries provide 24/7 access to food, steps away from their child’s bedside.

How Can We Help?: Let’s stock the pantry! We are accepting donations to purchase grab and go snacks to fill the level 7 Snacks on the House Pantry.
Every dollar raised through April will be donated to RMHC - EIWI to buy snacks for this pantry. And, Kiss Your Kids Foundation will match those dollars; every single one!

Hi All! 👋🏼 It has been awhile — not to worry, we haven’t gone anywhere! This past year dealt us a couple wild cards which needed our time, attention, and space for healing.

Friends! Once final donations were received, we were so excited to present a check for nearly $27,000 to the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City! 🏠
Thank you yet again for your kindness, generosity and support. Our funds will continue putting a roof over head, food on the table, and necessities in hand for families hurdling big, big challenges along side their children. Thank you to our generous sponsors, silent auction donors, and each and ever particpant! Here’s to another successful extravaganza! 🧔‍♂️ 🪒
