Honestly? Raising girls right now feels a little intense sometimes. 😅
Because one minute you’re buying them sparkly sandals and cake pops…
…and the next they’re navigating:
✨ group chats
✨ insecurity
✨ “wait… are we still friends?”
✨ comparison
✨ pressure to grow up way too fast
✨ trying to figure out who they even are while the internet gives them 700 opinions about it daily
And meanwhile moms are over here trying to raise daughters who:
love Jesus deeply
know their worth
have healthy friendships
hear God’s voice
stand confidently in truth
and don’t need the world’s validation to feel valuable
Which honestly is a HUGE part of why I created Set Apart Sisterhood.
Not just for another activity to fill the calendar.
Not just babysitting with a Bible verse.
Not just shallow motivation and beige Christian girl quotes. 😂
But a space where girls can actually:
✨ feel seen
✨ build real friendships
✨ ask honest questions
✨ grow in confidence
✨ encounter Jesus personally
✨ learn how to hear God’s voice
✨ develop a faith that feels REAL in everyday life
Because following Jesus should never feel less compelling than following the world.
So this summer we’re launching:
THE SUMMER I TURNED TO JESUS ☀️🤍
A six week summer discipleship experience for girls entering middle school through high school created to help girls stop giving pieces of their hearts to the world before they’ve fully learned to give their hearts to Jesus.
Our prayer this summer is simple:
that girls would become so rooted in Christ that culture is no longer the loudest voice shaping who they are.
FRIDAY NIGHTS • 6PM–9PM
JUNE 5 – JULY 17
(No meeting July 3rd)
📍 City Reach Church
🍕 Dinner + craft experience included weekly
Every week includes:
✨ biblical teaching that actually connects to what girls are facing today
✨ small groups + mentorship
✨ intentional friendships + community
✨ creative hands on experiences
✨ conversations about identity, confidence, friendships, emotions, faith, and purpose
✨ a safe, joy filled environment girls genuinely WANT to come to
✨ and yes… probably leaving with a new bestie who loves Jesus and hypes her up instead of making her question herself
And truly?
Some of the most meaningful moments happen in the little things:
Girls opening their Bibles on their own.
Praying out loud for the first time.
Building healthier friendships.
Feeling less alone.
Starting to realize they don’t have to become someone else to belong.
Over the past year we’ve watched God do incredible things through these gatherings, and as a mom myself, I do not take the trust of families lightly.
This generation does not need watered down faith.
They need truth.
Community.
Discipleship.
Joy.
Belonging.
And strong foundations BEFORE culture becomes the loudest voice shaping them.
If you’ve been praying for something deeper for your daughter this summer…
something fun AND spiritually impactful…
something that pours INTO her instead of just entertaining her…
I would absolutely love for her to join us. 🤍
Comment SUMMER and I’ll personally send you all the details!
