The Story
Sonrisas Foundation was founded by Doctors Enrique Cruz and Mahya Farnia Cruz. As immigrants, they both have experienced the incredible possibilities that the pursuit of higher education can produce. They fully understand that a college education is an important component in a child’s success. As such, they have taken the initiative of contributing to the success of future genera ons by
providing resources to students in pursuit of higher education. Through tenacity, responsibility and commitment, Doctors Enrique Cruz and Mahya Farnia Cruz have established a successful dental practice, where they have developed professionally while also maintaining a conscience effort to be leaders in the community by developing projects that have directly benefited children of all socioeconomic backgrounds and cultural roots. Enrique Cruz and Mahya Farnia Cruz have with children has given them insight as to what needs are present in the community. The Sonrisas Foundation was founded to support student’s needs in education to ensure their future success. The Doctors have also been continuously involved with other nonprofit entities and are fully committed to creating support for this cause that strives to reach all children regardless of their race, culture, and gender.
