October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each month we donate 10% of all sales to a worthy cause, and this month's Blessed to Be a Blessing recipient is Brave Alliance, serving survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and strangulation throughout Central Texas.

🏥 Rural communities face real barriers when it comes to timely, trauma-informed care for survivors of sexual violence. Join us September 9 at 12 p.m. ET for a webinar exploring how West Virginia built and expanded its rural SANE program network.

You'll hear the history of forensic nursing and SANE development in WV, the role of the WV Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) Commission, and how a full-time SANE Coordinator position has made a measurable impact.

We'll dig into the real barriers — geographic isolation, staffing shortages, low patient volume, limited funding, provider burnout — and the statewide strategies (training, mentorship, multidisciplinary collaboration) that have helped close the gap.
