We custom build challenging and rewarding outdoor adventure experiences for student groups and other parties desiring to immerse themselves in the beauty and wonder of God's creation.

Ascend is hosting a NOLS Wilderness First Aid Course in Austin in September. This course is great for people of all experience levels, and is best suited for those who recreate outdoors where EMS response can be expected in a timely manner (fewer than eight hours). You’ll learn the Patient Assessment System, how to provide effective first aid treatments for injuries and illnesses common in the outdoors, and how to make appropriate evacuation decisions. I've taken this course numerous times and it is top notch. I highly recommend it if you spend a good deal of time recreating outdoors.
