Driven Queens’ 👑 team captain, Tabitha, was able to join her team for our final game of the season on Saturday. 🙏🏽

Tabitha has been in training the last few weeks as she has qualified for Zambia’s Under-17 Women’s National Team this year! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

That’s right. That’s not one ☝🏽, but two ✌🏽 Driven Queens in the World Cup representing 🖤❤️ Driven ❤️🖤 in Zambia’s national teams.

Don’t forget, Driven’s Sports Ministry Director, Coach Naomi Phiri, also representing ✊🏽 as she’s one of the coaches for the Under-20 national team.

No other team/club (especially our size!!) has as much represention at the national level.

Considering all the hardship we’ve had as an organization this year, this not only shows God’s grace and favor upon us, but the determination of our players and coaches to do unto the Lord in all they do.

Well done, team! We done!! 🏆

The Driven Queens 👑 spent their day off today at Elyada Counseling Center 🩷💜💚 exploring all things 💕 GIRL 💕.

🤔 They discussed the big decisions a woman has to make in her life to show them they have control over their own story.

🎨 They spent time drawing how they should see themselves through the truth of God’s Word.

🎈 There were dangerous games involving balloons and forks. (I don’t think they’ve played this game with professional footballers before!! 😳🫣🤣)

🫱🏽‍🫲🏿 During the break a few took an opportunity one-on-one to ask the counselors questions.

❓And the counselors sat on a panel for a girl time Q&A session, which included questions asked like:
-How do I know if I love him?
-What are “red flags” I should look for”?
-How did you find the courage to tell others your story?

It was a blessed and powerful time and many girls afterwards asked me if we could stay the whole day next time. 🥰

We are in need of cleats for our Div III boys, 🌟 Driven FC 🌟, whose season starts this weekend. 👟⚽️👟⚽️

Coach says we cannot play one game in our old cleats. The FAZ* leagues have standards.

When we buy a new set of cleats at the beginning of the season, we use the old ones at training during the week or give them to the younger kids. We also give them to other local teams who are struggling. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏿

We need $390 for the boys’ cleats.

Driven’ Queens 👑 started the season strong today with a draw (1-1) against New Stars in the Div I Under-17 Women’s National League.

It is by God’s grace alone that we are able to return to the national league for the 2025-2026 season.

We look forward to what the season holds for us! Go Driven!! ❤️🖤🧡
