It is with a broken and heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Driven Queens’ right back, Priscilla Mwansa.

Her team said it best:

“Priscilla was a vital part of our family, a fierce competitor, loyal teammate and beloved sister. Her dedication, courage and infectious spirit on and off the pitch impacted us all. Words cannot express the depth of this loss. Her light and legacy will forever remain in Driven Queens.”

Please join us in praying for Priscilla’s family, friends and loved ones, her team and coaches, and all of us affected by her loss.

Driven Queens’ 👑 team captain, Tabitha, was able to join her team for our final game of the season on Saturday. 🙏🏽

Tabitha has been in training the last few weeks as she has qualified for Zambia’s Under-17 Women’s National Team this year! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

That’s right. That’s not one ☝🏽, but two ✌🏽 Driven Queens in the World Cup representing 🖤❤️ Driven ❤️🖤 in Zambia’s national teams.

Don’t forget, Driven’s Sports Ministry Director, Coach Naomi Phiri, also representing ✊🏽 as she’s one of the coaches for the Under-20 national team.

No other team/club (especially our size!!) has as much represention at the national level.

Considering all the hardship we’ve had as an organization this year, this not only shows God’s grace and favor upon us, but the determination of our players and coaches to do unto the Lord in all they do.

Well done, team! We done!! 🏆
