If you can travel safely to our area, you are invited to stop by the Cedar Mtn businesses that were impacted by Hurricane Helene and say hello! Phase 1 of demo efforts are in the works thanks to our friends and neighbors.

⚠️Highway 276 from Brevard is still washed out before the Connestee main gate. The DuPont route is open!

9-11 AM: Cars and Coffee at Cedar Mountain Outpost

11-2, 4-5 PM: Live local music, food tent, beer, wine NA & shine at Cedar Mountain Moonshine PLUS a kids’ zone provided by Mountain Roots, Inc.

2-4 PM: Jam circle and community potluck (zero waste) at Cedar Mountain Canteen also with beer & NA options.
PLUS pop up sale at Hiker and the Hound & DuPont Bike Shop

May 18 — SHRED EVENT! Bring old documents and unwanted or expired medication to Cedar Mountain Fire Rescue Inc. on Saturday May 18th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Shred America will be on site for document disposal and a member of the Sheriff's dept will be on site for medication disposal. Also, please support our community by brining a canned food item.
