The greenhouse project in Cedar Lake (formerly Good News Farm & now Cedar Lake Growers) has come a long ways in the past year. The first half of the plastic was repaired, the inside of the greenhouse has been substantially cleaned up, there is a full-time farm manager, students are working, and a number of delicious crops were grown--and shared with others--this summer. Now there is an urgent need to repair the remaining plastic before the snow flies. Otherwise, damage may be sustained. Around $5K has already been raised to purchase the plastic itself, and its paid for. But another $5K needs to be raised for installation.
