It’s been a busy week recognizing our newest Eagles in Raritan Valley District! Troop 66 Edison held its Eagle COH on Father’s Day at William Warren Park, Woodbridge, for seven Scouts. Congratulations to Noah, Om, Shayaan, Param, Shloak, Sriman, and Guru for achieving their rank! Thank you to the many outstanding adult leaders who supported these young men in their journey to Eagle. Great leadership and strong program keeps Scouring thriving in our communities!

Congratulations to the nine Somerville Troop 84 Eagle Scouts who recently completed Eagle rank and were recognized at their COH this past Sunday, June 14. Six of the boys crossed over into Troop 84 together in 2019.
Great program+ trained leaders=retention where Scouts flourish and can achieve anything.
Congratulations and best of luck Shail, Yug, Tanmay, ,RJ, Nathan, Matthew, Pranet, Nathan, and Lucas as they move to the next chapter in their lives!

The Raritan Valley District will be hosting a Cub Scout Leader Specific Training on Saturday, June 27, from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM, at St. Ann Classical Academy cafeteria in Raritan (lower level of school building adjacent to the church).

There is no cost to attend this training. Whether you are a new Cub Scout adult leader, or a seasoned Cub Sout adult leader looking to improve your leadership skills and knowledge, this course is for you!

Pack 69 Metuchen was in Roosevelt Park in Edison this evening conducted their annual water rocket launch.
Scouts eagerly awaited their turn to watch their rockets soar across the field followed by a dash to retrieve them.
Great way to showcase Scouting in action in Middlesex County Parks!

The Raritan Valley District kicked off its Spring Cub Family Camporee this morning at Winnebago Scout Reservation in Rockaway. Under sunny warm skies our young Scouts and siblings were eager to start a fun day of activities. Camporee theme is “Weird Science” with many fun family science activities including making ice cream.
Special thanks to event chair Coleen Kempe and co chair Karen Gough for coordinating a fun day, as well as Troop 193 Manville for running field games.
