CAMPAMENTO JULY, 2026
Year after year, House after house, Life after life, the volunteers with Mission Cedar Hill are making a difference. For a number of years now Campamento, a large group of strongly Hispanic Churches has partnered with Mission Cedar Hill for their Summer Mission Project during their July camp.
We are blessed to have them come and partner with us. But the blessing only starts there. Each of the young adults gets a first hand experience of putting someone else's needs in front of their own. Each and every one of them gets to see and experience what a little bit of planning, and sometimes a whole lot of effort turns into. And of course, there is the property owner who is blessed by others coming to help them by meeting them at the point of their need. Whether it is overgrown plants or weeds, a house that needs paint, a fence needing to be replace, God Provides!

What does LOVE look like?
Love is a hug, a kind word, or no words at all, just being present, being attentive and available.
Other times love pushes a lawnmower, runs a chainsaw, or uses a paintbrush. Sometimes love builds a new fence, hauls off fallen trees or overgrown brush. Love literally builds Bridges.
Love is never self-serving or selfish, but seeks to encourage and lift others up. "Love has hands, Love has feet, if they would see the Light, we must Love and G.O. and Serve, we must Love and G.O. and Serve."

Get your Bible Study Class, your Youth Group, School Club . . . get the Mayor and the City Council and sign up to help Take CARE to the Community. Give us a call, sign up on line, drop in, but come and help us restore houses, yard, dignity, and lives, one home at a time.
