***2023 Southwest Classic Spring Season Announcement***

***Attention Baseball Coaches....

We are excited to announce the 2023 Spring Season for Southwest Classic Baseball (SWC) League is around the corner and is expected to begin March 20th. If you or someone you know has a Rec or Select Baseball Team in the southern part of the DFW area and is interested in joining a baseball league in the Spring of 2023, give SWC a try. Please contact us at [email protected] for any questions. SWC was created for baseball teams ready to start competing at the Select level and we welcome you joining us in the upcoming Spring season.

The following is some information regarding the upcoming 2023 Spring Season:

•The baseball league will consist of 10 league games plus an Mid or End of Season Tournament. Time is TBD.
•League games will start the week of March 20th
•Games will be played during the week allowing tournament teams to play on weekends
•Each head coach is required and responsible for providing USSSA team roster and registration fees to their respective SWC representative out of the Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Red Oak, Lancaster, or Palmer area
•Team Registration Fees is follows:
•9u through 12u=$1350.00
•13u and 14u = $1550.00
•The registration Fee will include:
•Insurance if the team does not have team insurance (Teams can use this insurance for your tournaments as we well)
•Two practices times per week
•Two dozen baseballs for your league and tournament games
Like in previous seasons, in the event games are cancelled due to increment weather, we will make every effort to reschedule those games. We ask head coaches work with your respective SWC city representative if you have any questions.
We look forward to continuing to grow and strengthen what has been a great organization throughout the years. An organization that believes in competitive play for youth baseball players with a more important goal of developing positive character traits that will last a lifetime on and off the baseball field.

2021 SWC Fall League Information

Hello Coaches and Team Reps…

If your team is based out of the southern part of the DFW area and is interested in playing select type of baseball, coming up a level from Rec competition, we welcome you joining us this Fall in playing Southwest Classic Baseball.

The following is some information regarding the upcoming 2021 Fall ball league:

• The Season will consist of 5 league games and an End of Season Tournament with at least 3 games
• League games will start the week September 13th
• Games will be played during the week allowing teams to play tournaments on weekends
• Fall Season Tournament will be played October 16th & 17th
• AAA or Majors teams will be required to play up one age group
• Each head coach is required and responsible for providing team roster and registration fees to their respective SWC representative out of the Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Red Oak, Lancaster, or Palmer area
• Team Registration Fee is $725
• The registration Fee will include:
• Insurance if the team does not have team insurance
• Two practices times per week
• One dozen baseballs for your games

Coaches and Baseball Representatives,

The new year is upon us and we are gearing up for another great Southwest Classic (SWC) baseball season. Unfortunately, our 2020 Spring season was cancelled last year due to the Covid Pandemic but we are looking forward to having a great 2021 Spring Season. Registration is now open for our 2021 Spring League and we look forward to having you and your teams join our league once again. SWC Baseball is a subsidiary of Best Southwest Baseball (BSB) consisting of teams from each of the following south DFW area baseball associations: Cedar Hill, Red Oak, Duncanville, Desoto, Ferris and Palmer. Any other surrounding DFW teams are welcome to play but will have to sign up thru one of the mentioned baseball associations.

The following is some information for our upcoming Spring League:

1. - The Spring League will consist of ten (10) league games and one Mid-season tournament with a three (3) game guarantee. This will guarantee teams to play at least thirteen (13) games for the Spring Season

2. - League games will start the week of Monday, March 22nd

3. - Mid-Season Tournament will be played May 1st and 2nd.

4. - Games will be played during the week (Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, some Wednesdays if necessary) allowing teams to get ready to play tournaments on weekends if desired

5. - AAA or Majors teams will be required to play up one age group

6. - Each team is responsible for registering with PAC and paying their league team fees and providing team roster to their respective SWC city representative.

7. - Insurance will be provided for league play and weekend tournament play if needed

9. - Each team will be provided with two dozen baseballs for league and tournament play

10. - Two practices times per week

We certainly understand SWC is not for everyone but if you have a team that is looking to making a jump and play a more competitive Select type of baseball during the week, we welcome your team.
We look forward to continuing to grow and strengthen what has been a great SWC organization throughout the years. An organization that believes in competitive play for youth baseball players with a more important goal of developing baseball players and positive character traits that will last a lifetime on and of the baseball field.

***08/14/2020 SWC Fall Season Announcement***

Hello SWC Baseball family!!!

It has certainly been a minute since we last communicated and in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic, we hope you and your families are safe and doing well. We are all missing baseball and recently our cities have been given the green light to start organizing our leagues again for the up coming Fall season. If we can get enough interested for a 2020 SWC Fall season we would like to move forward as early as mid September. Will you please let us know either on Facebook or send us an email at [email protected] if your team is interested in playing this Fall? Also, if you know of any other team interested in playing, please do us a favor and ask them to reach out to us.
