Today we celebrate biological mothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, godmothers, caregivers, and the amazing women who step in with love, strength, patience, and compassion — especially those caring for children and adults with disabilities. We also honor the women carrying the role of both mother and father with grace and sacrifice.

On Sunday, we attended their annual Sneaker Ball and had a grand time, as usual. You know The Sisters love a great party! We also love giving. We aim to make every child feel welcomed and valued—and once again, that mission was achieved. APCD’s Sneaker Ball was a tremendous success! Thank you to our amazing vendors, community partners, board members, volunteers, and most importantly, the families who continue to support our work. We truly appreciate everyone who supported the cause and joined us for such a special event.
