The Bethel Project

The Bethel Project Transistional housing for women who have experienced trauma or crisis and would be at risk of homelessness.

Life coaching and support services will be provided to facilitate their obtaining permanent housing. Mission Statement: To get women with small incomes that are at risk of homelessness off the street and into permanent housing by providing safe and sanitary transistional housing facilities along with life coaching and one-on-one counseling. Vision: We would like to see all vulnerable women at risk of homelessness have permanent housing because we believe that shelter is a basic human right.

The Bethel Project sprang into Spring with its "Blooming Brunch and New Beginnings" fundraiser at the Sheraton Market Center. We extend our sincere thanks to the Sheraton Market Center for generously donating the venue and catering at no cost.

The program featured video and written testimonials, along with live testimonials of women with lived experience of homelessness, who have now achieved great success. The event also included a silent auction and a door prize for a two-night stay at a premier hotel.

We are grateful to those who could not attend but still provided generous monetary donations and those who offered to volunteer their time and services. In addition to raising funds, we successfully raised awareness of how The Bethel Project helps vulnerable, non-chronically homeless women- who represent the majority of the homeless population -- find "breathing room" in our "breathing rooms."

During the event, President Georgia Hamilton announced that a new Bethel House will open this May. STAY TUNED.
