Wizards Sports Club is a proud sponsor of the Annual Real Panthers Wear Pink event here in Cedar Grove and would love everyone in the community to join us this Thursday, October 15 at Panther Park for the 12th Annual Real Panthers Wear Pink Minette’s Angels Foundation Walk!!

Wizards players, we ask you to arrive at 5:50PM, wearing Gold Wizards Game Day Jersey and Pink socks!

All proceeds benefit Minette’s Angels Foundation, which provides assistance to those in treatment, and supports and promotes breast health awareness, which is vital to saving lives.

So come out and support a great cause, and enjoy a fun-filled evening for the whole family, with live entertainment, activities, treats, and more!

Today's the last day to register current Wizards players for our Winter Skills Training at the discounted rate!! Register your child here (details follow):

Wizards Winter Skills Training, a 12-week indoor training program designed to help our players continue developing their technical and athletic abilities.

Space is limited and registration will be first come, first served!

The program will focus on:
• Footwork and ball handling
• Shooting and finishing
• Passing and Receiving
• SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness)
• Injury prevention
• Small-sided games (1v1, 2v2, 3v3)

This is a unique opportunity for our Wizards players to train throughout the winter months with a couple of special guest coaches/trainers at a premier indoor turf facility. We were fortunate enough to secure a prime indoor training time to make this exciting program possible!

As a special benefit for our existing Wizards players, we are offering the program at a discounted registration fee of $295, which also includes a size 2 World Cup 2026 skills ball. ($375 for non-members).

We encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity for your child(ren) to continue developing their skills, fitness, confidence, and love for the game.

Wizards Winter Skills Training Info:

Training Dates (Thursdays):
• December 3, 10, 17 (2026)
• January 7, 14, 21, 28 (2027)
• February 4, 11, 18, 25
• March 4

Time (Thursdays):
• 6:30 PM–7:30 PM for players born 8/1/2016-12/31/2019
• 7:30 PM–8:30 PM for players born 8/1/2012-7/31/2016

Location: Soccer Palace Indoor Turf Facility

Cost:
• $295 (for current registered Wizards members registering by October 10)
• $375 (for non-members or anyone registering after October 10)

- U9 Girls Gold 10-0 win over Lincoln Park Leopards
- U13 Boys 6-1 win over Montville Slam
- U10 Girls 6-2 win over CWCSC Chiefs

Next weekend (Oct 10/11) is off but we have 10 games scheduled on October 18, and lots of training in between! Let's goooooo!
