🏔️ A sustainable masterpiece in Copenhagen

Copenhagen turned a tired industrial site into a neighborhood hangout by stacking a recreation center on top of a huge waste-to-energy plant. The project, called CopenHill or Amager Bakke, burns non-recyclable trash to make heat and power while locals ski down an artificial slope on the roof. Mixing play with public works gave the city a working example of how a dense urban area can hit climate targets without giving up the good stuff.

⚡ Efficient energy from urban waste

The plant chews through around 440,000 tons of waste a year, a big piece of Denmark's plan to reach carbon neutrality. The incineration setup feeds a wide patch of the region:
* Electricity for about 60,000 households.
* District heating for roughly 150,000 homes.
* Filters that pull out 90 percent of sulfur and nitrogen oxides.
The stack mostly breathes out water v***r, so families can hang out on the roof a few meters from where the burning happens.

⛷️ Rooftop recreation for all seasons

The rooftop slope runs 400 meters and is coated in a green synthetic mat that holds up under ski boots and snowboards in July. The rest of the site fills out with a few other options:
* An 85-meter climbing wall, one of the tallest anywhere.
* A hiking and running trail planted with trees and shrubs.
* A cafe and bar with views across the city and the water.
A power plant becomes a public park, and people end up spending their weekends on top of the thing that heats their apartments.

♻️ A vision for the future of cities

CopenHill puts the sustainability on display instead of tucking it behind a fence. It shows that a big industrial building can sit next to homes if the filters work and the architects think outside the box. Other cities hunting for ways to deal with waste and cut emissions now have a building they can copy, borrow from, or argue with.

🏗️ Design that redefines urban landscapes

Bjarke Ingels Group drew up the wedge-shaped structure around a philosophy they call hedonistic sustainability, the idea that going green should actually make daily life better. The exterior is wrapped in aluminum bricks that double as planters, and the plants climbing them give local insects and birds somewhere to go. A power station does not have to be ugly or smoky, and CopenHill is the proof sitting on Copenhagen's harbor.

Japanese Scientist Found Trees Release
Chemicals That Boost Immunity
Nature is medicine. A
Japanese immunologist Dr. Qing Li spent decades studying forest bathing and found that trees release natural airborne compounds called phytoncides.
Breathing them in was linked to lower cortisol and stress, and higher natural killer cell activity - with benefits lasting up to 30 days.
Time in the forest isn't just relaxing, it's healing.

Miley Cyrus is putting $1 million toward housing for women on Skid Row.
The Miley Cyrus Foundation pledged the gift to the Downtown Women’s Center’s HOME Campaign at its Every Woman Housed Gala in Los Angeles on Oct. 10. The money supports Rosa’s Place, a development under construction that will add 97 apartments for women experiencing homelessness.
Miley and her mom, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, were the night’s honorees. The pair have also helped renovate spaces on the center’s downtown campus and consulted on the interior design of Rosa’s Place.
The gala raised more than $2 million on its own, according to the center

I used sound frequency 25 years ago and said the future healing would be with sound frequency. To bad I didn't have the means to create this back then. But here we are!

Someone figured out how to destroy tumors with sound. That someone is a team of researchers at the University of Michigan, and the treatment is called histotripsy. Focused sound waves go in. The tumor gets destroyed. Now think about what fighting cancer usually looks like. You get cut open on an operating table, or you sit through chemo, or you brace for round after round of radiation.Histotripsy asks for zero surgery. Zero chemo, and zero radiation on top of that.Just sound, aimed exactly where it needs to go.

I am 70 years young. My observations and experience has shown me that, being happy and overcoming traumas with forgiveness affects the body. Also staying away from the pharmaceutical drugs. I have not had a vaccination since I was in 3rd grade. My experience is our body can heal itself. I take no drugs, I also cook most of my meals and go organically when I can. I do yoga and excerised by walking, swimming, saunas and whirlpools.
At 50, I popped my achilles tendon playing volleyball. It was 95%. The surgeon said I had to have surgery. I told him my body would heal itself. Of course he thought I was crazy.
At the time I worked at a newspaper. I printed a perfect achilles tendon and put it on my desk so my unconscious mind would visualize it and did reiki healing on it my self. When it was all done I went to the runners flat to see if I needed to have an insert in my shoe. He asked me to roll my pant leg up and walk. He couldn't tell which leg it was. I proceded to play volleyball until I was 60. I am in the process of finishing my book on my, what I call, magical experiences. Our mind and body are amazing my friends! Cheers!
