Hello Folks, since I last checked in we have received some material donations, but nothing for money or food. I Just posted summer open dates, and will post September open dates later in July or August. It looks at this point that September will indeed be our last month open. In October we will selling shelving and cabinets that have been used for the food pantry. Im sorry folks, but with limited income, for the pantry, we can't proceed. I need to sleep at night, My hair is falling out, and im getting pimples on my butt. We will be having a raffle for a 50" tv and other items to try to get us through the summer. A lot of people have been begging me to stay open, if you are one of those folks, pray for a miracle.....

Our Needs: canned fruits, boxed meals, soups, cash, dog and cat treats and food, Shampoos, body washes and toothpaste. Coffee and creamers, cash, Envelope pasta and rice....anything and everything.

Hello! Happy Birthday to our educator, Cindy Lutgen!! I just got done doing the numbers for April and I know a lot of you like to see them. We served 65 gamiles or 147 people. We gave out 3914 pounds of food and necessities. That's right, almost 2 tons. Thank you to all of our friends, donators and our volunteer family for everything.

Speaking of numbers, This coming September is our 10th anniversary. As of today, we have spent almost right at 138,000 dollars. Thats food and necessities, auto fuel and electricity. We have taken in 14,900 dollars from donors. 123,000 has come of out my families pocket.

With that in mind, my family can't do it financially anymore. With my diagnosis of MS, we have increased health bills, general cost of living is going up and our auto insurance has gone up since our vehicles are used for work or commercial. We have limited supply from the food bank and need to buy products outright. So, its now my plan to end the North Cedar Food Pantry in September of this year. This is not set in stone, we will see how the donations come in for food, necessities and a pantry vehicle. I have preached and prayed over this for the last 115 months and I think it's time to make the soup or take the corn out of the pot.
