Hold off mowing the lawn until after May, wildlife organization urges. The results are a wider variety of flowers for pollinators when they need them most! April showers bring May flowers, and if you like food, you should leave those flowers alone. Not mowing in May results in a greater diversity an...

This zoo just opened up a couple of miles from us. I hope they educate and keep the animals healthy. Reptiles need all the friends they can get.

A huge thanks to Bluebonnet Storage for letting us use the facility – it really came in handy during the rain and cold on Saturday, when we still managed to make $250.

Here’s a friendly reminder that we will have our community Flea Market in 2 weeks! Also, a big thanks to Nancy, the new owner of Bluebonnet Storage at 114 Stoneybrook, for offering to have the Flea Market at her business. There is plenty of parking, and it’s closer to the highway so there is more visibility.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10 12-7PM
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11 8AM -6PM AT 114 STONEYBROOK, BLUEBONNET STORAGE FACILITY

I will be firming up consignment tables and picking up donations this weekend, so be sure and let me know how you would like to be involved. Or, just come by and check the sale! We are advertising in Austin as well, so hopefully we will get some traffic. If you are able to help setting stuff out or putting signs up near the highway – give me a ring.
All proceeds go to benefit the Save Our Lake Fund.
