The Club shop will be open again starting June 1st

We have come up with some rules that will be in place until further notice

1) Masks must be worn at all times when the shop is open to members. ( No Mask No Entry member provides own mask)

2) Equipment will be disinfected after each person.

3) Please keep social distance when possible.

4) Refrain from touching areas not being used

5) The shop will be cleaned at the end of each night with Disinfectant

The BOD understands that not everyone will agree with these rules but we must insist on following them. We have a high risk member pool and we need to help protect all our members.

Only current members can use the shop. If you have not paid for this year you will need to pay your dues before using the shop. You can use PayPal or bring a check to the shop.

Shop fees are $3 per hour/per tool used. Cash is preferred but a check is also fine. The fees go to maintaining the equipment and rent for the shop. We will be post the schedule on the Club

website with the times the shop will be open. We are planing to expand the hours that the shop will be open.

We have been working on getting our shop ready to reopen. Starting June first we will be opening the shop Tuesday nights at 6pm Theron Wednesday Tracy and Larry at 5pm. We will be adding days as we find new shop stewards. If you would like to become a shop steward please contact me for more info

Everyone in the shop must wear a mask until further notice.

Equipment will be cleaned between each user.

We have a limit of 8 people in the shop at this time.

We have a very at risk group of members and we need to protect all our members.

You must be a current member to use the shop and be covered by our insurance.

We are preparing to start offering classes again as we get them set up we will be sending out more info in an Email and we will post to our page.

Our trip to Holt Canyon fill up quickly and we will see about offering another trip out there soon.

Fellow Rock Club Members - I want to thank all of you for your support over the years as I was doing the club website, and page and group. Jeff Smith has volunteered to take on the website and I have sent him the authorization code to transfer the site. Please be patient as the process will be between the webhosting sites to actually transfer the site. My hosting company indicated it might take 7-10 days to actually transfer, so please be patient.
Thanks again, and see you in Tonopah or at the annual club rock and gem show.

Got new order of shirts in. Both in light colored (Ash) and the Grey colored shirts with the logo on front and back. These shirts are Gildan cotton T-shirts, the Ash colored T-Shirts are 99% cotton, 1% Polyester. The Grey colored T-Shirts are 90% Cotton, 10% Polyester.

The club's rock exploration trip for Sept yesterday sent us to Yankee Meadows.. The burn scar is healing and the aspen are 2+ feet tall. They're in the process of removing much of the cut and stacked burnt trees. That left some nice areas to hunt for agate. Weather was perfect.
