Saturday’s parkrun is ON, same time, same place, same good vibes.

Please be aware that Main Street will be temporarily ruled by… sheep. Lots and lots of sheep.

The annual Sheep Parade will close Main St from 200 S to 400 N, which means your drive to parkrun might get a bit ewe‑turny. Plan on a few extra minutes to navigate the baa‑nanza of fluffy chaos.

Come run with us, then stick around to watch Cedar City’s most baa‑filled parade. It’s not every day you get cardio and a front‑row seat to a woolly traffic jam.

We’ll be waiting at the start line. No need to feel sheepish if you’re a couple minutes late.

There’s something special about hitting three parkruns, and then doing a few more.

By your third, the course feels familiar. You start recognizing faces, not because anyone expects anything from you, but because you start to feel at home.

You catch the volunteers’ names, too. A shift happens from “I’ve done this before” to “I’m part of this.” It’s a quiet kind of belonging that builds naturally over a few Saturday mornings.

Your rhythm settles. Nothing dramatic, just the steadiness that comes from showing up more than once. And somewhere in there, you stop feeling like a visitor.

It was 44 degrees F over the weekend and we had:
51 parkrun participants
18 first timers
4 people had new personal bests!

There were visitors from South Jordan, Utah, Chester in England; Munich in Germany, and two lots from Brisbane in Australia who didn't know each other.

Coal Creek Trail parkrun fam, we’ve got BIG news to kick off your weekend.

Utah is officially getting a second parkrun, and we could not be more excited to welcome Provo parkrun to the family. Their trial events start this weekend, giving everyone a chance to test the course, meet the crew, and get those legs warmed up.

The first official Provo River Delta Gateway parkrun launches on November 21st, adding another free, friendly, community‑powered 5K to our state. More places to run, more volunteers to cheer, more Saturday morning to enjoy.

If you’ve got friends in Utah County, send them the good news. If you’re up for a little parkrun tourism, your adventure awaits. And if you’re just excited to see parkrun growing in Utah, same here.

Let’s give Provo a huge Coal Creek welcome.

If you're wondering why we're all under the pavilion, it's because we got 5 minutes of rain as we did the briefing. It was mostly dry for the parkrun.
