Welcome to the Project Archaeology Network! We are thankful to have you lead the program in Minnesota!

👋 We’re excited to welcome Matthew Piscitelli as our new State Coordinator!

Matthew is an archaeologist by training who currently works with SEARCH, Inc., a nationwide cultural resource management company. Over the past five years, he has been an active part of Project Archaeology—completing the Leadership Academy and leading educational workshops that have inspired learners across the region.

Based in Brooklyn Park and a proud father of two boys, Matthew brings both professional expertise and personal passion to this role. He’s eager to build on the strong foundation laid by his predecessor, collaborate with educators across Minnesota, and expand opportunities for students and communities to engage with archaeology.
