Hope for the Change - The Jarom Hlebasko Foundation

Hope for the Change - The Jarom Hlebasko Foundation Many volunteers and committee members have already given many hours of service and have been fantastic in correlating and orchestrating this entire cause.

Hope for the Change has been established to encourage help and donations from our community, friends, and family to benefit someone in the community of Cedar City. Hope for the Change – The Jarom Hlebasko Foundation became a fundraising foundation in which we have the unique opportunity to ultimately help someone in need financially for that medical miracle. In hopes of accomplishing this goal, th

is foundation has been established to raise money, through charitable donations and event participation, for the beneficiary.

As an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are being given the opportunity to be recognized as a successful charitable organization by the Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union in a contest called Pass It Along. It would be truly astounding to have the recognition of a professional basketball team and widely known credit union to award Hope for the Change - The Jarom Hlebasko Foundation with the contest winnings.

We would like to encourage everyone to participate and help in this endeavor. Please pass this along to everyone that you know and fill in the charity name as Hope for the Change - The Jarom Hlebasko Foundation.

Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Parker Wood has a new accessible van! A couple months after the fundraiser, the Wood family was able to get a hadicap accessible van yesterday. Take a look at the pics!

Hope for the Change is so excited for Parker. This van will make it so much easier for him to go from one place to the other without the agonizing transfers and discomfort.

There's more on the horizon for Parker with a half finished accessible ramp for his back yard and bathroom modifications.

We are excited to announce that this years Family Night Fundraiser will benefit once again a member of the Cedar City area. Parker Wood has been chosen because of the unlimited challenges he faces on a daily basis. This sweet 7 year old boy has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and will melt your heat with his sly smile.

Please read all about his courageous story by following the link in this post. The fundraiser event will take place on April 30, 2012 and will go from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Those that took part in this last year know it was an amazing event and we want just as much support as we did last year.

Parker is wanting to improve his quality of life. This fundraiser will help him receive handicap accessible home modifications as well as a handicap van. Please consider a small donation for the cause! Thank you once again for your love, friendship, and support!

Parker was born in Davis County, Utah on December 4th, 2004. After a completely normal pregnancy and delivery, we had no idea that Parker was not a completely normal little boy.
