Red has a whole new meaning today. ❤️

Two years ago today, I underwent heart surgery to correct my SVT. The day before, I begged my mom to take me to Miss Utah a day early so I could sit in the audience and watch for the very first time. Somewhere between the opening number and the crowning moment, I knew one thing: one day, I’ll be on that stage.

Today, exactly two years later, I’m not in the audience. I INTERVIEWD for the job of Miss Utah.

What I didn’t know then was how much life could change in two years. This anniversary is a reminder to never take life for granted. I was given a second chanc. a second chance at health, at pursuing my purpose, and at chasing dreams I once only imagined.

From watching Miss Utah the day before surgery to interviewing for Miss Utah two years later, I’m grateful for every opportunity, every challenge, and every heartbeat along the way. ❤️✨

Being able to LIGHT up ThisIsThePlaceWeddingsandEvents with my STEAM themed heels, inspired by my CSI STEAM: Find Your Sparkle, was the BEST way to kick off Miss Utah week! with such a fun tradition!!
