Vision Iron County (formerly Iron County Vision 2050) is a community-based organization that promotes and protects the quality of life in Iron County through representative engagement, regional partnerships, and collaborative strategies. We serve Iron County citizens, organizations, and government by coordinating and advocating for long-term planning that represents a consensus of participating co

mmunity members through active engagement, partnerships, and accountability. Vision Iron County is in communication with residents and organizations across the county to help shape a long-term vision for the area. It’s Focus Area Friday and this week the spotlight is on Education!

The 2018/2019 focus group placed a significance on charting a map to the future of our education and staying up to date with technological advances.

The current Education Team set three goals for this year:
-Compile a database of available resources in the County
-Educate the community on the need for funding, especially in the face of growth
-Educate the community on how education is funded and how those funds are used

Our next Education Team meeting is on September 13 from 4:00-5:30. Please consider joining us to share your opinions, learn about resources, and collaborate with other passionate community members!
