Emergency Medical Services In 2000, Winslow EMS began the transition from being completely volunteer to career department by hiring our Chief, Joyce Midure.

Emergency Medical Services in Winslow Township was started in 1971 after a number of residents fell ill and could not be properly treated or transported to hospitals. As the community progressed and began to grow, so did call volume, in 1997 both Sicklerville Ambulance and Cedar Brook Ambulance combined to form Winslow EMS Foundation Inc. In the following years, Winslow EMS hired the remaining volunteers and became a fully staffed career department in 2003. Winslow EMS currently operates 2 ambulances 24/7, and an additional ambulance from 11am-7pm daily. One ambulance is stationed at our headquarters located in Cedar Brook, while the other is located in Sicklerville. The Winslow EMS fleet consists of 5 ambulances, and 2 Command Vehicles. Winslow EMS employs approximately 45 EMTs and also supports a volunteer division. Winslow EMS responds to nearly 5,000 emergency calls a year. -Winslow EMS takes great pride in our history and we never forget where we came from. Our volunteer program is for anyone who is interested in becoming or is already an Emergency Medical Technician. Our volunteers operate on our ambulances as an additional crew member. Our volunteers are also eligible for training classes and other great opportunities.

Congratulations Wawa on opening Store #8481 today. At every opening, Wawa has a Hoagies for Heros competition with the local first repsonders. It was amazing to see how many people came out and cheered everyone on. And who doesn't like a little friendly competition and what makes it even better is the strong working relationship that Winslow has between the Fire, Police and EMS. And the winners of the hoagie making contest was EMS.

Just a friendly reminder for today

TRAFFIC ALERT – WINSLOW TWP 5K

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 19, 2026, the Winslow Twp 5K Run will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Erial Road will be CLOSED between Sicklerville Road and Williamstown Road during the event.

Officers will be on location to assist residents with entering and exiting their developments along the route.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and plan an alternate route if possible.

Please use caution in the area and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
