FOR100-Develops the general concepts of forestry and forest resource use in the United States. Laboratory sessions introduce the student to the protection, management, and use of forest resource. (3 credits)

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Are water activities right up your alley? Would you like to learn the techniques to properly engage when participating?

If you answered yes, then RPK131:Kayaking is for you! In this course you will be introduced to kayaking techniques, water classification, conditioning, safety and destination planning. Field experience is included, involving kayaking in multiple environments; flat water, ocean and whitewater. There may be an overnight stay required as part of the course, and the ability to swim is a prerequisite.
