What an amazing (chilly) Field Day! 😊

We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful community helpers and families who participated and helped make the day so special. From the variety of fun games and activities to the smiles and laughter shared throughout the day, I think everyone had an incredible time!
We can’t thank our families enough for their continued support and for taking the time to come celebrate their children and all of the academic progress they have made this year. Your encouragement and involvement mean so much. ❤️

We loved welcoming the North Vermilion Early Childhood Education Vocational students and Mrs. Medina to our Head Start classroom! The students spent time reading stories, playing with the children, and learning more about how Head Start operates each day. It was such a wonderful opportunity for our preschoolers to intact with the future educators while the vocational students gained hands-on experience in an early childhood classroom setting.
Thank you to Mrs. Medina and the North Vermillion students for spending part of your day with us-we enjoyed every minute of your visit!

Children and families worked together to create unique cars using recycled materials from school and home. The students proudly brought their creations back to school and participated in a fun “race” with their classmates. Afterward, Clark’s Chevrolet allowed us to explore real cars and golf carts during a special visit. Thanks especially for the transformer show, that was by far the favorite part of our visit!

We always love it when Mr. Mike comes in to read but his visit last month was extra special. Thank you Mr. Mike for bringing Oakley and letting the kids show her some love.
Having Oakley visit was such a special experience for the children, although excited, they all were very gently and kind with her. We continued conversations about Oakley the entire day!
