Proud of this MHASC Board Member!

Congratulations to our Director of Programs and Rural Outreach, Ashley Page Bookhart for successfully completing the Riley Fellows DLI Program of The Riley Institute at Furman. Ashley is a member the Midlands Spring 2026 class and is joining the ranks of more than 3,000 statewide. As part of the program, Ashley worked on a team capstone project, Planting South Carolina Roots that will bring together an appreciation of South Carolina native plants and produce, education and local pride through the creation of a South Carolina native garden and seed library at the South Carolina State Museum.

A busy few days for our Education Department! Jean Ann presented to Newberry Seniors yesterday and is co-leading ASIST training today and tomorrow. Ericka represented MHASC at the Bridge Pickens meeting yesterday. Eileen attended the state Su***de Prevention Coalition meeting yesterday, and today represented MHASC at UPLIFT Lexington County, at the Program Advisory Committee meeting for South University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, and also the SCVA’s Governor’s Challenge Health Promotion Working Group! Whew!
