ISO: Firewood Bank Coordinator Volunteer
We are looking for an individual who would like to offer their time to help coordinate firewood retrieval and transportation to storage lot. Having use of a truck/trailer is ideal. We will provide gas cards and an endless supply of praise and gratitude. message Angela Franklin if you are interested or know someone else who is.

We are in need of a few blankets today. If you can drop off a blanket to Ascension Tea House by 6pm (behind old Umpqua Bank building, it faces the Post Office)Christie will collect them and distribute!!!

Today the firewood bank was gifted 2 cords of green oak from the Senior Thrift. They unfortunately had to cut down the beautiful oak in their parking lot because it was a “liability.” We had an amazing gift of resources from Wheels A Turnin, Ryan Gwinn came with their giant truck, a might saw and a dump trailer to help transport the wood to IV Wellness Resources wood lot!! We had many chainsaw operators and volunteers from FOLK Remedy, Wheels A’ Turnin’, the community and RARE. Thanks for all the help!!! If you have seasoned wood to donate, please let us know!!! Our family will be giving out free spaghetti dinners on Christmas Eve, if you need a hot meal or know anyone, please come by Gimmies Grill and grab a meal to go.
