Freya's Adventures books are a proud partner with the Desert Awareness Committee to support local children's education. The Desert Awareness Committee does a fantastic job educating and fostering passion in our local youth about the desert flora, fauna, and wildlife.

The Harris Hawk Foundation was founded in Cave Creek, Arizona in 2022. Co-founders Harley and Ashley Samuelson are both from small rural communities and after the birth of their first-born daughter, wished to create a company that could support children’s creativity through valuing children’s literature and community programs.

Harris Hawks have some of the most sophisticated communities of the desert creatures, working together to nurture and educate their young into their small but powerful families, using their intelligence to work in a cohesive group. Like its namesake, The Harris Hawk Foundation values its smaller, underrepresented, communities and focuses on supporting and nurturing its children.
