A 3-2 victory over the Sykesville Cyclones Red team. Capped off by this sliding backhand and throw from his knees by Owen L. to end the game! A true team effort yesterday.

We play the same Sykesville team on Tuesday in the first round of the MABA tourney!

Sunday we split with a previously MABA undefeated Damascus team. We won the first 9-1 in a complete team effort. Our first 0 error game of the season! Game 2 was a hard fought 10-6 loss.

This weekend we participate in the Stars and Strikes tournament. We play the Western Howard County Red Renegades on Friday @ 6 and the Diamond Academy 10u @ 245 on Saturday at Hammond Elementary. Those two games will determine seeding for Sunday’s game(s).

Tournament update:
Won game one 8-5! Xander L busted open a tie game with a 2rbi triple in the 6th! Brian T and Owen L combined to allow only 2 walks!

Game 2: Ran into a buzzsaw and lost 15-0. Jack M and Carson G accounted for the Cubs hits.

We will find out tonight what time we play tomorrow!

Your home town Cubs lost consecutive games Sunday by a score of 14-1 and 12-8 against a very tough Westminster team. Camden M had 4 hits and Ryan L tossed 2 and 1/3 innings with only 1 run allowed. Brian T. hit the first home run of the season and it was awesome to see the team celebration!

We get back to action Thursday against the Elkridge Green Hurricanes and have a tournament in Bear, Delaware this weekend. If you’d like to see the Cubs play, we stream games on the gamechanger app (hopefully without the chain link fence this time).

The Cubbies picked up their first win today in a very well played game against the Western Howard County Renegades Black, by a score of 14-8. A true team effort where all 11 Cubs reached base! We are back in action Sunday against the Westminster Vipers at 2pm.
