Today is the day! 🎉

We can’t wait to welcome students to the 2026 NextGen NextLevel Leadership Conference at the University of Maryland!

Students from across Maryland will spend the day building leadership skills, exploring college and career pathways, and connecting with peers as they prepare for their futures.

Please join us in welcoming new leadership to the MBRT Board of Directors!

We are excited to announce Michael Cloyd of BGE as MBRT’s new Board Chair and Morgan O'Donnell of Pepco Holdings as Board Treasurer. We are pleased to welcome Charles J. Morton, Jr. of Venable LLP and Dr. Bradford L. Sims of Capitol Technology University as new members of our Board of Directors.

Their leadership and experience will help guide MBRT as we continue our work connecting business and education to support Maryland students and strengthen the state's future workforce.

This in‑person session at the Mid‑Atlantic Coastal Conference will cover the CPA exam structure, licensure requirements, and study planning tips and includes time to connect with accounting professionals and firm leaders during the conference reception.

We’re excited to recognize Caydence P., a recent graduate of Fort Hill High School.

Inspired by her father’s work as a first responder, Caydence plans to begin a career in the medical field, where she hopes to continue helping others and making a difference in her community.

Reflecting on her time with MBRT, Caydence shared that her favorite memory was the wide variety of experiences she had throughout the program.

We are proud to recognize Isabela P., a recent graduate of Easton High School and participant in MBRT’s Student Ambassador Program.

This fall, Isabela will attend Mount St. Mary's University to study chemistry. She hopes to pursue a career in forensic science, using scientific investigation to help solve real‑world problems and uncover answers through analytical work.

Reflecting on her MBRT experience, Isabela shared that her favorite memory was attending Youth Congress Day in 2025.

We are proud of all she has accomplished and look forward to seeing where her future takes her. Congratulations, Isabela! 🎉
