Today our center is closed as we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the enduring contributions of African Americans throughout our nation's history. May this day inspire reflection, appreciation, and hope as we continue building a stronger, more inclusive community for all.

The Baltimore County Department of Aging administrative offices and senior centers will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

We're having a Shrimp Boil! Join the Catonsville Senior Center for a shrimp boil fundraiser. This event is open to the public, and all proceeds benefit the Catonsville Senior Center Council.

Saturday, August 8th from 3pm-7pm.

Each meal includes: shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes served in a rich broth, with cornbread, salad, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Cash Wine Bar will also be available.

Dine-in kitchen/bar service ends at 6:30pm.

Purchase tickets in advance in the Catonsville Senior Center Staff Office for $30/person, or at the door the day of for $35/person. Doors open at 3pm. Cash or check only! No credit cards!

On Tuesday, June 16th at 1pm, award winning actress and artist, Shemika Renee will be here at the Catonsville Senior Center with her "Ms. Story's Living History". "Ms. Story" blends theatrical arts, history, and storytelling into the physical embodiment of a loving history book and will introduce us to historical women of color whose lives were impacted by Juneteenth, 1865 and the Emancipation Proclamation.

Must be a BCDA Senior Center member to attend.

Ring in the holidays with the Catonsville Senior Center Travel Office!

Celebrate the holiday season and experience the 2026 Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. The Christmas Spectacular features classic show-stopping numbers and the incomparable high-kicking Rockettes. Following the show, we will treat you to a delicious dinner at Town and Country Diner in Bordentown New Jersey. Please provide your meal choice when making your reservation (options below).

Date of trip: November 11, 2026
Tickets cost $272/person (transportation, show tickets, dinner, and all taxes and tips included).
$100 dollar deposit due at time of reservation. Full payment due by October 1st.

Dinner Options: Eggplant Parmigiana, Roast Half Chicken, or Roast Turkey.
The bus will stop for lunch en route to New York.
