Join us in front of the Cathlamet courthouse on Sunday, June 14th to honor our 2025 Citizen of the Year, Mark Letham for his service as a firefighter.
The VFW Post #5297 will do a flag raising at 2 pm for observance of Flag Day.
We will also be celebrating Julia Butler Hansen’s birthday.
Afterwards light refreshments will be served at the Pioneer Community Center located behind the library.

Know for your friends, family and those around you.

During a stroke, every minute counts. If you think someone may be having a stroke, B.E. F.A.S.T.

B—Balance Loss

Ask the person if they are feeling off-balance or dizzy.

E—Eye (Vision) Changes

Ask the person if they have trouble seeing normally.

F—Face

Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?

A—Arms

Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?

S—Speech

Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is the speech slurred or strange?

T—Time: If you see any of these signs, call 9-1-1 immediately.
