We’ll be hanging out on Puget Island for National Night Out! Come hang out and learn about the fire departments of Wahkiakum County.

Come join us for a evening of visiting with neighbors and making new friends at Puget Island Fire Department's National Night Out gathering on August 4th. We will be serving hot dogs and root beer floats for all of our visitors. The fun begins at 6 PM and runs until 8 PM. We will be joined by the Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Department and Cathlamet EMS.

Last night, your Cathlamet Fire Department took advantage of some decent weather to do an in-house wildland fire drill. This also gave us the opportunity to utilize, clean, and prepare our wildland Engine 905 for the summer season.

Friendly reminder to all, that the Wahkiakum County burn ban is in effect.
