Come visit us at Norse Hall next weekend! We'll be hosting a bake sale, selling WAAG merchandise, and collecting donations for our Pet Food Pantry. Every purchase and donation helps us continue supporting animals and pet owners in our community.

Stop by, say hello, grab a treat, and help make a difference for local pets in need! 🐾

We hope to see you there!

We’re looking for an urgent foster home for this sweet girl! We don’t know much about her, just that she has a good temperament. Unknown how she reacts to other dogs or cats at this time. If you’re able to temporarily open your home to her, please reach out!

Do you recognize this pup? She was found running on Highway 4 in Rosburg. Please contact WAAG if you know her family - we'd love to reunite them!

WAAG's 2025 Annual Report is live!🐾2025 was a record-breaking year for WAAG. Together, we helped more animals, supported more families, and served our community in ways we never imagined possible. We are incredibly proud of the lives we’ve impacted and the work we’ve accomplished alongside our volunteers, fosters, donors, and supporters.

At the same time, the volume of need we experienced last year was simply not sustainable long-term. Like many rescues, we faced overwhelming intake requests, limited resources, and volunteer burnout. To continue serving our community responsibly while protecting the wellbeing of our team and organization, we are shifting our focus toward more preventative services - like the free spay and neuter program we recently launched.

We truly believe prevention is one of the most powerful ways to reduce suffering, keep pets healthy, and prevent unwanted litters before they enter an already overburdened rescue system.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our community. Whether you’ve adopted, fostered, donated, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on - thank you for being part of this mission 💙

If you’re inspired by the work we do, we would love to have you join us. Volunteer opportunities are available online, and every helping hand makes a difference.
