REAF was proud to present Project Open Hand, as a primary beneficiary of "Help is on the Way ###II: Broadway & Beyond" with a check for $26,000 to support their work in feeding homebound seniors and others with debilitating diseases at our check presentation party on Oct. 13th at the home of Dr. John Newmeyer. The gala raised just over $50,000 which also will support REAF's Small Emergency Grants Program which provides small grants to individuals facing short-term crisis situations to help them get past their crisis and on with their lives. Many thanks to all who attended this party as well as to all who attended and supported the "Help is on the Way ###II" gala co-chaired by Sophie Azouaou and Dr. Greg Hammer. Entertainment for the check presentation party was provided by Kippy Marks on electric violin. Special thanks to Ask a Spoon Catering who catered the party.

Hey Bay Area peeps, here's a show we recommend checking out if you can. Richard Skipper, who's best known for his impersonations of the legend, Carol Channing, has a show coming up on Feinstein's at the Nikko on Oct. 30th with the amazing Matthew Martin as special guest. Since it's Halloween eve, he's encouraging everyone to come in costume as their favorite Hollywood legend so make it even more fun. Its bound to be a jolly good time.

Earlybird tickets are now available for REAF's next Palm Springs event, "Pride in Paradise 2" on Oct. 24th in Andreas Hills. Top 10 Billboard recording artist Debby Holiday and Drag Superstar Billy L'Amour are already confirmed to perform as well as DJ Galaxy to provide the sounds. Stay tuned for other announcements.
