Today is a heay day for all of us at NDC. The final honors and celebration of a son of one of our founding board members will be held at Hangar 5 at Pendleton at 10:00. For those of you who are not able to attend, you may use the following link to view remotely and pay your respects in your hearts. Major Tyler Braconi will be greatly missed. He made the ultimate sacrifice, doing what he loved, serving the greatest Nation in the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents and family.

Congratulations on behalf of National Defense Corps!

Bullhead City Fire Department Celebrates Largest Pinning and Hiring Ceremony in Department History.

Bullhead City – Today marks a historic milestone for the Bullhead City Fire Department, as the department gathered for its largest pinning and hiring event in our history. The momentous occasion was held during the department’s monthly fire board meeting, where a total of 13 dedicated members were recognized for their leadership, promotion, and service. Fire Chief Justin Flummer addressed those in attendance, stating, “Looking out across the room and seeing our new leaders, our newest members, and the families who stood beside them reminded me once again why this department is so special.”

The following members were honored during the ceremony:

1. Battalion Chief Dave Alaniz
2. Captain James Weiss
3. Captain Shawn Dutcher
4. (Captain Jordon Fuqua not pictured)
5. Captain Caleb Brady
6. Captain Nicholas Wilsey
7. Engineer Tyler Lowry
8. Engineer Brad Goodman
9. Engineer Justin Miller
10. Engineer Joe Jackson
11. Engineer Gary Musselman
12. Engineer Donald Dillon
13. Engineer Chance Skeen

In addition to these recognitions, 13 of the department’s newest members were also welcomed and celebrated for joining the Bullhead City Fire Department family.

Chief Flummer further commented,
“To our retirees, your legacy continues to guide us, and the dedication of those serving today builds on the strong foundation you helped create. We are proud of the path our department is on and grateful for the foundation you helped create.” This landmark event underscores the department’s continued growth, commitment to excellence, and the strong sense of community that defines the Bullhead City Fire Department.
