Pollinator power at the Butterfly Festival in Cathedral City! Our club presented butterfly books to the many butterfly enthusiasts, and the Interact Club was on hand to cut and create handmade butterfly wings for all! 🦋

Three local organizations — Dinner With Patsi, S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, and Cathedral City Evening Rotary — have joined forces to launch a new program called Dinner By Friends, providing complete dinners in a bag for the Cathedral City Senior Center Food Bank.

The innovative Dollar Tree dinner recipes of TikTok creator Rebecca Chobat inspired this initiative. The Dinner By Friends bag uses shelf-stable food and easy recipe cards. Cathedral City Interact students are adding a special ingredient to each bag as well - handmade greeting cards. The first dinner offerings are Thanksgiving Dinner in a Bag and Chicken Chili in a Bag, based on Chobat's original recipes. Dinner With Patsi S.C.R.A.P. There are approximately 17,500 butterfly species in the world. Learning more about how to protect all butterflies is essential to the environment. The North American Monarch butterfly is iconic with its orange, black, and white markings. These butterflies migrate annually from the United States and Canada and fly south to Southern California or central Mexico. 🦋
