What a phenomenal year of bass fishing!

With our largest team yet (21 total - 15 high school / 6 junior), these guys (and young lady) put in the work both individually & as a team.

The teams finished strong and we couldn’t be more proud of their success & commitment!

Sawyer Reynolds / Tyler Nelson - 2025-26 NC Bassmaster High School Series STATE CHAMPIONS (2 years, back to back)

Wyatt Sigmon / Tristian Wright -
4th place 2025-26 NC Bassmaster High School Series state championship finish

Cole Hutto / Jack Bolin -
2025-26 NC Bassmaster Junior Series STATE CHAMPIONS

Rhylen Watkins / Jace Childers
2nd place points finish in the BASS Western NC High School Series

With these successes, we have THREE teams qualified for nationals in July/August at Kentucky Lake, Paris Tennessee.

Looking forward to the continued growth of this team and every angler!

Thank you to all of our sponsors, the parents, families & boat captains for your support! We could not do this without you!

High School Teams,
We will try to blast around 6:30AM tomorrow and Sunday. There are only 2 ramps open, so please get there early. Everyone should be in the water by 6:15AM. Gates open at 5:00AM.

We will try to check livewells as you put in, so if you put in at another ramp please come to the dock so we can check yours. After you put in please park on the left side headed out of the park. This was requested by the ranger there. they normally try to park more passenger vehicles over to the right.

You should have gotten a text and an email with your boat number and check in times. Please look for those. At the end of both days, check-in will start at 3pm on the dock. Look for someone with a clipboard to check in.

The limit is 5 fish, 2 any size, the other 3 have to be 14" minimum. Please be prepared to have a bag and get your fish out of the boat. ALL ramps will be packed Saturday and Sunday with others looking to enjoy the water and quite frankly, they are slow loading/unloading--be prepared to wait to get you boat out.

Please stay around after 1st day weigh in as we would like to recognize ALL SENIORS! Thank you!

What an exciting weekend for our junior teams! We had 4 junior teams representing in a field of 29. All four Bandys teams weighed in their limit of 5 fish! Ben + Porter for 12th place, Micah + Graeme for 13th, Eli + Gray for 15th.

Most exciting of all…we are so thrilled to share that Cole & Jack are the 2025-26 North Carolina Junior
🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS!! 🏆

These guys won big fish (4.02 lbs) & put together 12.5 total lbs at Mountain Island Lake! That was enough to secure them the WIN & punch their ticket to Nationals at Kentucky Lake, Paris Tennessee later this summer.

That makes 3 Bandys teams now qualified for nationals! LET’S GOOOOOO!!!
