☀️ Summer Feeding 2026 is almost here!

Catawba County Schools is proud to provide nutritious summer meals for all children 18 and under. 🍎🥪

This year’s program includes:
✔️ Expanded pickup times (3:30–5:30 PM on Mondays & Thursdays)
✔️ More convenient distribution locations
✔️ A simplified one-time registration process for the entire summer

📍 New and expanded locations include Bunker Hill High, Fred T. Foard High, the Catawba County Firefighters Museum, Bandys High, Tuttle Elementary and NorthStar Academy.

Catawba elementary PTO has celebrated our wonderful teachers and staff all week starting with:

Monday- a dirty soda bar
Tuesday- relaxing facials thanks to Blume beauty bar in hickory ❤️
Wed- we catered in lunch from Publix and had duty free lunch coverage
Thur- we had a target store complete with classroom supplies, yummy snacks and a target gift card!

We love our teachers and staff at Catawba elementary and we are so grateful to them for watching over our children each day!

We celebrated multiple appreciation weeks all today, including librarian, front office staff, and assistant principal appreciation! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful team in our school!

Saturday is the big day! Thank you The Catawba Creamery, LLC. For supporting us!

Come join us this Saturday, April 18th from 1-9PM & support Catawba Elementary students while eating some YUMMY ice cream! A portion from ALL sells will be donated back to the school!

The PTO provided a much needed treat for the staff at Catawba elementary to kick off spring break!

Thank you to Three Catrines in Catawba for helping make our event special!

We also had a special visit from the Easter bunny!

UPDATE: The meeting on April 27th needs to be rescheduled. We will post the new date when it gets rescheduled!

ATTENTION ROCKET FAMILIES! We have some exciting (and important!) updates for our PTO!

As we prepare for next school year, several of our core board positions will be opening due to term limits. This means we are looking to fill the following roles:

✨ President
✨ Vice President
✨ Secretary
✨ Treasurer

In addition, we are expanding our team to better support our school community and will also be adding these positions:

⭐ Fundraising Coordinator
⭐ Volunteer Coordinator

Our PTO plays a huge role in supporting our students, staff, and school experience—and we can’t do it without you!

Whether you have a little time or a lot, there is a place for you. Many of these roles can be shared or supported by committees, so please don’t hesitate to get involved.
