Pray for the ones who have never heard.

There are people God has loved since before the foundation of the world who have never once heard His name spoken in the language of their own heart. Not because no one tried. The Gospel reached them as ink on a page they could not read, in a tongue that was never theirs.

So GRN records it. Locals speak it, in their own language, for their own people, so that what could not be read can finally be heard. The recording saves no one. The Word does. We are only the ones who carry it within reach.

God is gathering His people from every tribe and tongue and nation. That work is certain. It is also not finished.

Pray for the unreached language groups still waiting to hear. To walk with us as new recordings reach them, follow the link in our bio.

Mexico has 68 indigenous languages and 364 ways to speak them. Most people think the country speaks one language. It doesn’t.

This is the moment a man hears the Story of Jesus in his own heart language for the first time. Not Spanish. Not a trade language he gets by in. The language he thinks in, dreams in, prays in. In his own language, nothing gets in the way.

That’s the whole reason Global Recordings Network exists. For over 85 years we’ve recorded Gospel audio in the heart languages of unreached and oral communities, so the Word can be heard where it has never been read. Hundreds of indigenous languages across Mexico alone are still waiting. Thousands more around the world.

The Word does not return void. Not in any language. We record because He is risen, and because He commanded that every tongue would hear it.

Pray for the languages still waiting.

Most people picture our work as recording the Gospel in language after language. That is only half of it. The recording is finished years before anyone hears it. The harder part is carrying it the last mile to the person who has never heard a word of Scripture in the language they actually think in.

This is what a distribution project looks like.

In Hermosillo, Mexico, a team went camp to camp through the agricultural fields where workers from across southern Mexico had gathered. Tzeltal, Tzotzil, Chol, Lacandon, Mazatec. Spanish is not their heart language, so the first questions were never about religion. What village are you from. What do you speak at home. Once the team found the language, they played a sample so the person could hear it was truly theirs. Then the recording loaded straight onto their own phone. Offline. Free. No data, no catch.

For people who spend fifty dollars a week just to stay connected, a free and permanent copy of the Story of Jesus in their own language is not a small thing.

The recordings already exist in thousands of languages. What they need now is people willing to make the trip and partners willing to send them.

He sat with his arms crossed.

He had not come looking for God. But God was already gathering a people for Himself out of every tribe and tongue on earth, and that week, in the labor camps outside Hermosillo, Mexico, He came looking for this man.

For two weeks, believers from six local churches went out every evening. They asked where he was from, what village, what language he spoke besides Spanish.

They found his heart language on a map by its code and matched it to a Gospel audio recording GRN had finished years before he ever reached that camp. The Story of Jesus, waiting for him, in the language he thinks in. They loaded it onto his own phone. Free. No internet, no data, no cost to a man earning fifty dollars a week.

Then he heard it. Scripture in the language he prays in. The arms came uncrossed. The skepticism broke into joy. GRN did not change him. The Word did. It does not return void.

He heard the praise of God in his own tongue. Add your voice.

✝️ Comment “Praise the Lord.”

God is gathering a people for Himself out of every language on earth. This is one night of it.

Hermosillo, Mexico. For two straight weeks, believers from six local churches went out every evening, into doorways after dark, hunting for the languages almost no one records.

The work is slow. They ask where a person is from. What village. What tongue they speak besides Spanish. They find the language on a map by its code. They play a recording to be sure it’s the right one. Then they load the Story of Jesus onto that person’s own phone. Free. No internet. No data. Many of these families earn fifty dollars a week and won’t spend it on bandwidth, so the Word costs them nothing.

Then this. The reason for all of it. People hearing Scripture in the language they think in, the language they pray in, the language their heart actually speaks. And worship in a tongue heaven already knows.

GRN did not go because these people are poor. We record because Christ is risen, and His reign does not stop at the languages that already have a Bible. He commanded every nation, every tongue. So the church goes. The Word does the rest. It does not return empty.

6,700+ languages recorded. The work is not finished.

Tag the person who first handed you the Gospel. Then go hand it to someone else.

The gift of tongues at Pentecost was stranger than most people realize.

In Acts 2, the men speaking were Galilean fishermen. Uneducated, untrained, suddenly speaking languages they had never learned. The crowd had come from every corner of the known world, and every one of them heard the gospel in their own native tongue.

Acts 2:8 calls it their dialektos — the language they were born into. They already shared Greek. God gave them the language of their birth instead.

Three thousand believed that day. The church was born.

Pentecost itself was unrepeatable. But the need it revealed never went away. People are still hearing Scripture in the language they were born into for the very first time. That is why GRN records in 6,700+ heart languages. We record and deliver. The Spirit still saves through the Word.

Save this. Send it to someone who loves the Word.

The Story of Jesus, in a language that’s never been written down.

In Hermosillo, Mexico, most of the languages spoken here have no printed Bible. Many never will. So we don’t hand out books.

Instead, local believers go and ask one question: what language do you actually speak? Then they play a recording of the Gospel in that exact language, recordings that have existed for years, and load it straight onto someone’s phone. Free. Offline. No internet, no data.

For some, it’s the first time they’ve heard the Story of Jesus in the language they think in.

This is what Global Recordings Network does. 6,700+ languages recorded. The work now is reaching the people who speak them.

On the first Pentecost, the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples — and every man heard the gospel preached in his own language. Thousands believed that day. (Acts 2)

Two thousand years later, a third of the world still has no way to hear it even once. No church. No Bible in their language. No believer to tell them.

This Sunday, May 24 — Pentecost Sunday — the global church stops to pray as one. Here's how you can stand in the gap:

- Draw three lines on your palm — a visible reminder all day.
- Pray at 1:11 PM, the moment believers around the world pause together.
- Share the symbol and the cause with .

- Get a text reminder so you don't miss it — link in bio.

Would you take one moment Sunday to pray for the people who've never heard? And send this to one friend you'll stand with.

4 days…

This Sunday, May 24, 2026, is the International Day for the Unreached — and at 1:11 PM (your local time), Christians around the world will stop everything for one minute to pray for the unreached. 1.8 billion people on this earth have never heard the name of Jesus. Not once. Not in their language. Not in their lifetime.

That’s almost 1 in 4 people walking around right now — entire people groups, entire languages, entire generations — completely unreached by the Gospel.

The International Day for the Unreached falls on Pentecost Sunday every year — the same day, 2,000 years ago, when the Holy Spirit gave the early Church the ability to proclaim Jesus in every language present in Jerusalem. Acts 2.

The Gospel was born to cross language barriers. It still has barriers to cross. At Global Recordings Network, we’ve spent 87 years recording Bible stories and Gospel messages in over 6,700 languages — many of them spoken by unreached people groups who can’t read, don’t have a written language, or have never had the Gospel translated for them.

Our free app, 5Fish, makes those recordings available to anyone with a phone, anywhere in the world. But before recordings, before missionaries, before strategy — there is prayer.

This Sunday, join the global Church.

One moment. One prayer. One unreached people group at a time. Until every nation, tribe, people, and language has heard.
