Happy Birthday US Coast Guard Auxiliary!

On this day in 1941, Congress passed the Coast Guard Reserve and Auxiliary Act, establishing the Coast Guard Reserve. These Reservists made up more than 90 percent of the 214,000 Coast Guard members serving during World War II. Happy Birthday to our U.S. Coast Guard Reserve! SEMPER PARATUS!

Good Morning, and happy Juneteenth! Post 460 held its annual election this week. Congratulations to newly elected Commander - Albert "Butch" Naegelin, 1st Vice - Eliezer Arroyo, 2nd Vice - Dennis Bippert, Historian - John Aken and Chaplain - Janet Cook. The remaining officers will continue another year in their positions.

The Army Full Honors Wreath-Laying Ceremony in honor of the Army’s 251st birthday will take place at 9 a.m. today at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
