✨ Powered by Good Spotlight: Ashley Hundley & The She Shed ✨

This week, we are proud to shine a light on Ashley Hundley, the heart and vision behind The She Shed—Medina County’s first women-only gym and fitness space.

Ashley is more than a business owner—she’s a true community champion. Through The She Shed, she has created a welcoming place where women can grow stronger not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Her passion for helping others has empowered countless women to build confidence, improve their health, and believe in themselves again.

Beyond the gym walls, Ashley is a friend to all and a constant supporter of the Castroville community, Medina County schools, and FCA. Her impact reaches far beyond fitness—she is helping shape a stronger, more connected community every day.

Ashley, thank you for being a light, a leader, and a force for good. 💛

Some businesses are built on strategy — others are built on heart. This month, Medina County Women for Good is proud to highlight Erin Braden, owner of Harzheim Properties — a brokerage whose very name reflects what matters most: heart and home.

Harzheim Properties was established in 2022, but Erin has been serving clients in real estate for nearly a decade, most of those years right here in Castroville. When the opportunity arose to open her own brokerage, she wanted a name with meaning. Drawing on her Alsatian heritage and an Alsatian dictionary compiled by relatives, two simple words stood out: Harz (heart) and Heim (home).

Together they became Harzheim — a place where clients can feel at ease and truly at home during the real estate process.

Erin and her husband, Collin, married in 2016 and are raising three children — Guinevere, Juliette, and Jackson — who attend St. Louis Catholic School. In addition to Harzheim, the couple runs a landscape and construction business and recently began restoring a historic pioneer home in Castroville.

For Erin, serving Medina County is deeply personal. After leaving to pursue college, she experienced the full-circle moment so many locals know — realizing just how special this community truly is.

“We rally behind each other, support local, and genuinely want the best for one another. It feels like one big county-wide family.”

Giving back is simply part of who Erin is. Through her work and community involvement, she hopes to invest in the next generation and help keep Medina County a place families are proud to call home.

💛 Thank you, Erin, for being Powered by Good and for pouring your heart into our community.
