This month, we’re proud to shine our Powered by Good spotlight on Patricia Cole, owner of TRSigns—a local entrepreneur whose business journey is a beautiful example of growth, adaptability, and giving back.

TRSigns began in 2016 as Tricia’s Reclaimed Signs, creating handmade and reclaimed wood décor. After moving to the Castroville area with her husband, Chris, and their family in 2018, Patricia became a familiar face at local markets and trade shows, building relationships and becoming part of the community she now calls home.

In 2024, Patricia took TRSigns in a new direction, transitioning from home décor into professional printing and business signage. Today, TRSigns is a full print shop offering signs, banners, stickers and labels, magnets, event products, custom printing, and so much more.

But what we love most is that growth hasn’t changed Patricia’s heart for community. ❤️

Whether it’s creating one item for a small business owner or hundreds of pieces for a local organization, Patricia values the people and stories behind every project. She sees firsthand how the Medina County community supports local businesses, schools, teams, fundraisers, and organizations—and she believes that support should go both ways.

“Our community has played a huge role in the growth of TRSigns, so I believe that support should go both ways.”

From donating a banner to supporting a school, team, fundraiser, or local organization, Patricia and TRSigns are using their talents and resources to make a difference right here at home.

We are so grateful to have women like Patricia who remind us that when local businesses thrive, our whole community can thrive—and when we have the opportunity to give back, we should.

This week, we are honored to recognize Paula Barden—a woman whose kindness, generosity, and servant’s heart have left an incredible mark on the Castroville community.

Paula is the kind of person who quietly shows up wherever she’s needed. Whether she’s volunteering with Medina County schools, supporting Kinetic Kids, investing in the next generation through Next Gen Ministries at First Baptist Castroville, or encouraging students through FCA, Paula is always finding ways to serve others with love and compassion.

One of Paula’s greatest accomplishments is raising her three incredible triplets—Annalee, Rhylee, and Rothe. Each of them reflects the same servant-hearted spirit, giving back to the Castroville community and making a difference wherever they go. Their commitment to serving others is a beautiful testament to the example Paula has set.

Paula reminds us that the greatest impact often comes through a life of faithful service, genuine kindness, and a willingness to put others first.

Paula, thank you for all you do to make Castroville a stronger, more compassionate community. Your life truly is Powered by Good. 💛

Today we celebrate 9 incredible young women from Medina Valley High School as they prepare to walk the stage tonight and begin their next chapter 🎓✨

Through the support and generosity of Medina County Women for Good, we are honored to award scholarships to these outstanding graduating seniors who represent leadership, perseverance, kindness, and the bright future of our community.

This week, we are proud to shine a light on Ashley Hundley, the heart and vision behind The She Shed—Medina County’s first women-only gym and fitness space.

Ashley is more than a business owner—she’s a true community champion. Through The She Shed, she has created a welcoming place where women can grow stronger not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Her passion for helping others has empowered countless women to build confidence, improve their health, and believe in themselves again.

Beyond the gym walls, Ashley is a friend to all and a constant supporter of the Castroville community, Medina County schools, and FCA. Her impact reaches far beyond fitness—she is helping shape a stronger, more connected community every day.
