Induz being an Arts and Education focused non-profit organization, has always stepped up to help the community during natural disasters Ex. Nepal Earthquake, Haiti Earthquake, Floods in Kerala India etc.
Covid-19 is a disaster impacting everyone; and it is the worst hit for people in remote areas and those that are living in poverty. Induz has been helping the children and their families engaged in our programs with support for groceries, sanitizers, masks, soap etc.
Relief Effort for Orphans in Mfangano Island, Kenya: We work with George Oko in Kenya and have been supporting over 120 children and their families with groceries, masks and sanitizers. These are orphan kids who live in extreme poverty.
The children are part of the Island School where Induz has built an Arts center and supports ongoing arts, music and dance classes.
Relief Effort for Children with Nodding Head Syndrome in Uganda : We work with Jolly Grace Okot, founder of Wend Africa to support children with nodding head syndrome with Soap and groceries. Induz supports these children on going with Dance and Music therapy sessions.
Relief Effort for Orphans at Santosh Hime, Bangalore, India: We work with Isaac Raj, who runs the Children's home in Bangalore. The children have gone back to their homes and their guardians' place and are struggling with the impact of Covid. Induz has supported them with groceries, sanitizers and masks.
Induz has been providing ongoing Arts, Music, Dance, Sewing classes for kids at the orphanage for the last 12 years.
