Yesterday evening at the CRCDA Annual meeting businesses, community organizations and city officials came together to share what was happening, to learn about CRCDA and its committees and network to 'get to know each other' as Annual Meeting Chairperson and board member Ben Trigsted announce.

Snacks and refreshments and announcements of the 2026 board as well as presentations by CRCDA committees, (Action Teams); Admin, Marketing, Economic Environment, Quality of Life, (School Gardens) , Tourism/Events ; Committees Blooms, Street Art/Halloween Jamboree, Festival of Lights, our hosts Castle Rock Axe House and Event Center Bryan and Adea Anderson,, (THANK YOU SO MUCH! -- great spaces BTW- check it out!), CTE Teacher and Castle Rock FBLA Advisor Robin Palmer of Castle Rock High School, Home of the Rockets and Greater Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce President Kari Murfitt. It was an evening packed with activity, blooming prizes and good cookies! (baked by board member Ellen!!!)

Thank you so much Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Garrett Ashby and the support you have provided for the CRCDA committee Castle Rock Blooms. We are honored to be the recipient of the $2,500 grant. We will spend it wisely for improvements to Castle Rock Community Development Alliance initiatives of providing beauty and 'quality of place'.

Did you know that the Castle Rock Festival of Lights is a committee within the non-profit Castle Rock Community Development Alliance (CRCDA)? There were a few transitions in non-profit hosts, but they have had a home with CRCDA for 10 years. This committee is comprised of volunteers who work closely with the city staff and CRPW year around to bring this festive day to Castle Rock since 2010. It gets brighter and 'shinier' every year.

Thank you for the donations which makes it possible for Castle Rock Festival of Lights to LIGHT UP our town.

A look back to Della Franklin's video she 'gifted' Castle Rock in 2020 as a reminder of how much excitement and fun we have. Times change, children grow up. We a miss those no longer with us. The charm and warmth of the Castle Rock community prevails. See you on Saturday the 13th! 2 PM!
