🎤 Meet Dr. Heinz Lycklama at the Mount St. Helens Creation Center on July 18, 2026, at 6:00pm!
We're honored to welcome Dr. Heinz Lycklama, a world-leading expert on research physics and information technology, Dr. Lycklama is uniquely qualified to blow the whistle on how science has overstepped its bounds regarding the creation-evolution issue, which he ably does through dozens of lecture topics, delivered in a multitude of foreign countries. However, on this evening his target is the so-called climate crisis, a topic that also tends to generate more heat than light. Where exactly is the scientific evidence of a looming crisis? Come expecting to be enlightened as a careful research physicist, not a politician, breaks down this question.

Dr. Lycklama has always had an active interest in the Creation v. Evolution controversy. Over the years he developed a series of lectures on this, as well as related Apologetics topics, and given messages in Sunday school classes, to college students, during church services, at Bible Schools, and other venues in Thailand, Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, and Cameroon, as well as in Canada and the USA, and more recently overseas, via Zoom.
Dr. Heinz Lycklama, President, has a PhD in Nuclear Physics and is now retired after more than 40 years in the high-tech industry. He has been involved in the Creation vs. Evolution controversy for more than 25 years. Heinz has been an active member of Creation Association of Puget Sound (CAPS) for many years and is involved with various international Creation ministry organizations. He has given lectures, courses, and sermons on topics in the areas of 1) Creation vs. Evolution, 2) Christian Apologetics and 3) Biblical Worldview in different venues locally as well as overseas. Dr. Heinz Lycklama earned a bachelor's degree in engineering physics and a Ph. D. degree in experimental Nuclear Physics from McMaster University in Canada in 1965 and 1969 respectively. Since then, he has worked in the telecommunications and computer software industries at Bell Telephone Laboratories in NJ and at Interactive Systems Corporation in CA. In 1992 Dr. Lycklama formed Open Systems Technology Associates (OSTA) and now offers his technology management services to various startups in the high technology industry.
Being challenged in his Christian faith by what he was taught in university in the 1960's, Dr. Lycklama has always maintained an active interest in the Creation vs. Evolution controversy. As his children reached school age and began to ask questions about what they were taught in school, he became more involved in researching the topic of Creation vs. Evolution. He has developed a series of lectures on this topic over the years and presented the material in Sunday school classes, to college students, during church services and also at an overseas seminary.
