There’s always something happening at the Minnesota Fire Engine Club shop!

Our members have been putting in the work to keep the fleet ready for events and future generations. The two trucks in the night photo have been getting some attention, including replacing lights, rewiring, and taking care of a variety of electrical projects to keep these historic rigs in working order. 💡⚡

🚒 A New Addition to the Fleet!

We’re also excited to welcome the newest addition to MNFEC! One of our new members recently purchased this Seagrave that originally served Faribault, Minnesota, and brought it home from out of State by trailer. We’re looking forward to seeing this piece of Minnesota fire service history and learning more about its story. Welcome to the fleet! 👏

🔧 Keeping the 1949 FWD Going

The club’s 1949 FWD also got some attention in the shop. Members installed a new choke cable and air filter, helping keep this historic apparatus running and ready for the road.

MNFEC members were busy all weekend supporting a variety of events and activities. On Friday and Saturday nights, members worked the Burnsville Fire Muster. On Saturday, we also attended the Waterous Company anniversary event, where we had a static display and put on a water display for attendees.

Sunday was another busy day, with members attending a church event and a parade. In addition, a small work crew spent part of the day moving two trucks in need of repairs back to the main shop.

It was a very busy weekend, and none of it would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who came out, drove trucks, worked events, helped with the equipment, or assisted behind the scenes. Your time and effort are what keep MNFEC moving forward!

🔥 August was a CRAZY month for MNFEC! 🔥

From putting on another successful Cannon Falls Fire Muster to attending all of the other events and activities throughout the month, our volunteers have been keeping busy!

A HUGE thank you to all of our MNFEC volunteers who continue to help keep this organization running. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Our Wednesday Night Work Crew has also been staying busy—not only keeping our current fleet maintained and event-ready, but also continuing work on several different restoration projects throughout the shop. It takes a lot of time, effort, and dedication to preserve this equipment and the history behind it, and we appreciate everyone who lends a hand!

The 4th Annual Cannon Falls Fire Muster is finally here, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a full day of historic fire apparatus, live demonstrations, family fun, and great memories!

Our amazing volunteers have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for months—preparing equipment, organizing displays, planning demonstrations, and making sure everything is ready for a fantastic event. We couldn’t do it without their dedication, and we hope you’ll join us in thanking them for all of their hard work!

Have you ever seen an orange fire truck?

On August 8, don't miss the rare opportunity to see not one, but TWO historic orange fire trucks that formerly served the Lake Crystal Fire Department together at the Cannon Falls Fire Muster!

This is a special occasion because it will be the first time both Lake Crystal fire trucks have been displayed together at one of our events—and it's also the public event debut of the beautifully preserved 1957 International Harvester Pumper!

🚒Truck Specs:
• 1957 International Harvester Pumper (making its first event appearance!)
• 1980 Ford/FMC C900 Pumper

Come for fire truck rides, watch live demonstrations, try handling a real fire hose, visit the fire museum, enjoy great food, and spend the day surrounded by fire apparatus from across Minnesota.
