Amazing turnout for the 2026 Pumpers in the Park!

The Minnesota Fire Engine Club would like to sincerely thank everyone from the community who came out to Bridge Square and spent the evening with us. Seeing so many families, kids, friends, and fire truck enthusiasts enjoying the displays, activities, food, and historic apparatus made this event incredibly special.

The smiles, excitement, and support from the public are what make events like this worthwhile. Whether you came to cool off by the water displays, learn more about fire safety, take photos with the trucks, or simply enjoy a fun night downtown, we truly appreciate you being there.

It was wonderful to see so many people filling the park, and helping us celebrate. Your continued support helps us keep these traditions alive for future generations.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the 2026 Pumpers in the Park such a memorable evening. We hope to see you all again next year! 🚒

Big things are happening!

Last Monday Night, we had the opportunity to attend Texas Roadhouse Kids Night, and it was a fantastic time for everyone involved. Kids and parents alike had a blast trying on different pieces of fire gear and even climbing into the driver’s seat of a real fire truck—an experience they won’t forget anytime soon!

A huge thank you to Texas Roadhouse for hosting us and supporting our mission. We’re excited to be back again on May 18th starting at 5 PM at the Apple Valley Texas Roadhouse—come out and join us for another fun-filled evening!

Back at the shop, our dedicated volunteers have been hard at work tackling a variety of projects to get everything ready for the upcoming season. Their efforts are what keep things running strong behind the scenes.

If you’re interested in getting involved and volunteering with us, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out anytime at www.mnfec.com.

Hard work finally paid off! 🚒

Our shop crew has brought our 1949 FWD Fire Engine to the point where it can handle a longer, reliable test run. There are still a few finishing touches in the works, but it’s getting closer to making its debut at one of our events later this year—stay tuned!

Huge shoutout to our shop team for the dedication that made this possible!

If you’d like to support our preservation efforts, please consider making a donation by visiting our website at www.mnfec.com.

The Minnesota Fire Engine Club has been hard at work!

Volunteers have been busy repairing multiple benches that will be used at our Cannon Falls location during the upcoming Open House and Fire Muster event.

In addition, the 1976 Dodge Power Wagon is officially back in action after suffering a major engine failure at the Burnsville Fire Muster two years ago. With the truck now running again, MNFEC volunteer Matt T took the opportunity to reletter it back to its original in-service appearance.

Our first major event of the year is Northfield Pumpers in the Park on May 23. Be sure to stop out and see the historic trucks—including 1976 Dodge Power Wagon—in action!
