We took the Rubicon to the Davis Besse Community Day & Car Show. It was nice talking about Eric with so many new people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about him as well as military/veteran su***de prevention. Special thanks to Pam Myers Neill for inviting us to such a great event. There were almost 600 cars plus great food and tons of kid activities. We’re looking forward to next year! 💚🇺🇸

Kendra was able to visit the 200th RED HORSE Air National Guard base at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, OH today. She made sure to leave a rock for Eric #26-002 at the red horse, and wants to give a special shoutout to SSG Kurtz for making sure the rock will be taken care of.

Surprises come up for us once in a while and we just had another interesting one happen. 💚

Chelsea Klejka sent us this photo of Eric’s rock that she found at Jennerstown Speedway Complex LLC in Pennsylvania. But she also said she went to basic training with Eric! 🫡🇺🇸

Shortly after that, Kendra’s Facebook memories popped up with photos of Eric in basic training at Fort Jackson. The first photo had someone in the corner of the photo and it turns out that it’s Chelsea! She’d never seen the photo before so it was a surprise for her too.

The best part of all of this was what Chelsea had to say about Eric. She made sure to tell us that he was always very kind to every single person in their company. It meant a lot to hear that.

Eric had a wonderfully kind heart. He didn’t care where you were from, what you look like, how much money you have, what your last name was, or any of those other things that people get hung up on. He just tried to help and be a friend to whomever he could. We were so proud of him for that. His kindness is missed more than we can say.

The fifth and final rock in the Disney series! ✨ Eric’s rock #26-031 was hidden by the Tree of Life in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom by Kiley & Garrett Horner. We are so appreciative of them taking the time to hide the rocks in each of the parks over the last week. Our family visited Disney World back when Eric was a kid, so he had been in these same spots, and many of our wonderful memories of him still live there.

Eric’s rock # 25-033 was hidden at Sandusky County Fair & Agricultural Society in Fremont, Ohio during their Veterans Day activities by Josie Jarrett, the granddaughter of Bruce and Vicki Meggitt. Josie is at the fair this week and keeping an eye on the rock hoping to see someone pick it up to take it to its next destination.

Eric’s rock #26-033 was hidden by the Millenium Falcon in Disney World at Hollywood Studios’ Galaxy’s Edge by Kiley & Garrett Horner - their fourth this week! Star Wars was Eric’s absolute favorite. He had every light saber as a kid and anything that wasn’t a light saber became one once he picked it up.

Eric’s rock # 26-031 was hidden at Disney World’s EPCOT by Kiley & Garrett Horner - their third this week! They said a food and w**e festival is this week, so there’s a great chance the rock will be found fast.
