So had to have a surgery revision where they took out the Ertl bridge cause if infection. God I hope this is the last one

Had a Customer call in today about her frig and told me her mind was scatterbrained cause she just lost her husband two weeks ago. Something told me to ask her what happened and she proceeded to tell me that he got into a car accident 2 years ago lost one leg and mobility in his left arm and basically gave up and committed su***de. My heart just dropped and I felt so bad for her. I proceeded to tell her I was a double amputee myself and know oh too well the struggles he was feeling and that she does not need to blame herself for the actions he took. After we talked for a minute and she praised me for being so strong throughout everything
I told her I still have good and bad days, God Carrie's me through it everyday. I know if it waant for people praying for me, and me praying for god to keep the evil thoughts out of my head, I wouldnt be here today to tell her its going to be ok. I just wanted to share this cause it was only heart. It felt so good to have someone you dont know express how much you helped them move forward on their day and how god must have sent me to her for a reason. Cherish the moments even with strangers.

Please spread the word and come to this event. I am trying to get this up and going and need as much help as possible. Please suggest other amputees in the area to join our group and hopefully we can all meet at least once a month. Thank you for all your help and hope to see you at this event.
